A Wagner working day for Jennifer Gebauer

Jennifer Gebauer, Warehouse Logistics Agent

During my three-year apprenticeship as a Warehouse Logistics Agent, my work covered the complete flow of goods, from incoming goods through to the different storage areas, packing and despatch. I now work in different areas as required and have an understanding of the underlying logistics process. In addition to day-to-day tasks such as sorting parcels by freight forwarder in the despatch area, loading lorries according to proper procedures and preparing shipping documents, I also try to identify potential improvements in the logistics area. For example, improving transit times, reducing handling times during picking and general cost-reduction actions.
