The WAGNER group owes more than simply its name to the company's founder, Josef Wagner. The engineering vision, inventive talent, courage and drive displayed by Josef Wagner in the post-war years, as well as his keen perception of the market and employees' needs, have also helped to shape the company's distinctive character. The foundations of the company as we know it today were laid in 1953, with the development of the first electric paint spraying gun. Since then, the WAGNER group has continued to develop and is now a market-leading manufacturer of technologically high-quality units and systems for the surface application of wet and powder coatings, paints and liquid materials.
