Since its foundation, the company has been an authorized dealer of J. Wagner GmbH and currently serves around 150 German customers from a wide variety of industrial sectors.
Hans Licher had already been working as a commercial agent for J. Wagner GmbH since 1976. In 1989 his son and current Managing Director Guido Licher founded the company EBS Licher Oberflächentechnik. In German, the abbreviation EBS stands for "electrostatic coating system solutions". The focus of the company's activities was on supporting small businesses in financing and implementing individual coating systems, as well as repairing and installing used systems.
With a competent team, which was supplemented in 2016 by Claudia Licher (Managing Director) and Wolfgang Krauß (Head of Project Planning & Service), EBS Licher today configures complete systems for its customers. These include pretreatment systems, dryers and ovens, conveyors, robot and axis technology, accessories and spare parts. Here the company cooperates with well-known plant manufacturers. In the field of coating technology, EBS Licher exclusively integrates WAGNER products for manual and automatic liquid and powder coating in customer plants and thus assumes the role of a system integrator for WAGNER.
In addition to regular training courses for individual customers, EBS Licher also organises the so-called Powder Coater Competence Days several times a year. Directly at the coating line of a selected customer, the team teaches the participants theoretical and practical basics about surface technology and related technologies in cooperation with industry experts.
EBS Licher intends to further strengthen its market position in the future. True to the company motto "We are only satisfied when you are", the proximity to customers is to be further intensified in order to create sustainable system solutions. For the future existence of the company, EBS Licher Oberflächentechnik GmbH continues to rely on a close and successful cooperation with WAGNER.
