Markdorf / For the third time, J. Wagner GmbH has been honored as a top innovator in the TOP 100 competition. Only particularly innovative medium-sized companies receive this award.
The competition evaluates and rewards innovation management and innovation success in small and medium-sized companies. It is based on an in-depth scientific study by the Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. More than 100 criteria from five categories were scrutinized: innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success. To ensure that all applicants have equal opportunities, the seal is awarded in three size categories: up to 50, 51 to 200 and more than 200 employees.
J. Wagner GmbH, which specializes in surface technologies, convinced the jury with its innovation qualities in the size category of more than 200 employees. "We are pleased about the recognition and see it once again as an incentive to continue to be so innovative," comment Jens Arnoscht and Thomas Jeltsch, the two Chief Technology Officers of WAGNER, on the award as TOP 100 Innovator 2023.
