Halved color change times and tenfold-reduced powder disposal volumes
The Italian company Nord Laser specializes in the processing of pickled and galvanized metal sheets for various industries, including customers in the steel construction, energy, furniture or fitness equipment sector. After a year-long process of vertical integration of production, Nord Laser is now able to offer all production steps for the processing, assembly and coating of industrial metalwork from its own source. As customer demands continued to grow, Nord Laser invested in an upgrade of its coating process in 2022, installing a state-of-the-art automatic powder system with WAGNER's IPS coating center. In fact, efficiency in this area has been increased tenfold: the result is color changes without manual intervention, fast and consistent throughput times, accelerated production, higher quantities and improved surface quality.
